ImTOO Audio Encoder can help you re-encode and edit audio files. Moreover, it can extract audio from video.

The program has a nice and intuitive interface; therefore, beginners will not have any difficulty in using most of its functions. Fortunately, the interface also supports various languages and skins.

In keeping with its batch conversion feature, the program allows you to import not only individual files but complete folders as well. Practically any popular audio and video format is supported as source. The imported files can be easily previewed from the built-in player, which is detachable and supports full-screen playback. It also enables toggling between playing the original file and previewing the results.

The application lets you trim segments from the source files. It is good that it supports extracting various segments from the same original file. Moreover, it lets you split files at given points. Some basic audio effects are also available. Thus, you can apply such effects as normalization, fade-in/fade-out, chorus and band pass.

Multiple output audio formats are supported. Although you can keep the default presets as they are, you can also customize them and save the changes for later use. Luckily, you can have the files on the conversion list converted using individual conversion parameters, and even add various target profiles to the same source file.

In general, ImTOO Audio Encoder is an excellent application. Besides allowing audio conversion and extraction, it supports some editing functions and adding effects. It is a shame that, unlike similar applications, it does not support ripping audio CDs.
